Battle during Pontiac's Rebellion in which British troops attacked Pontiac's forces in an attempt to break his siege of Detroit. Pontiac was ready for the attack and defeated the British troops ~2 miles from the Fort, including the commanding officer, Captain James Dalyell. In total 20 British were killed with another ~40 wounded. Pontiac continued to hold the seige on Detroit until October.
