Mary Dann (1923–2005), of the Dann sisters, was a Western Shoshone rancher and land protector who, along with her sister, Carrie Dann, challenged the federal government over the ill-use of their tribe's traditional land, including nuclear testing. The sisters engaged in an Aboriginal title case that ended up at the United States Supreme Court as U.S. v. Dann (1985), where the court decided against them.
